Document Management for Everyone

Everyone knows an archive with filing cabinets, folders and index cards.  This tired and trusted method of organising documents has been taken by ELO and turned into a modern electronic archiving system. The advantages are clear in that the entire flood of paper is moved from the desk into the PC.

Future Safe Storage
In order that documents can still be displayed, even after the original software is no longer installed, ELOoffice offers a built in TIFF printer. The TIFF printer allows the option of printing documents from different applications directly into ELO, saved in TIFF file format. This ensures that the documents can be retrieved and viewed in the future, regardless of whether the original software is available or not.

One System - Multiple Archives
Often documents need to be saved in a separate archive to other documents. For example business papers in the network archive and personal documents in a local archive on the desktop PC. ELOoffice introduces profiles, which allow users to select the required archive path at the click of a mouse button. This functionality is particularly useful for mobile users, who can then easily access a company network archive as well as a local archive on the laptop.
